Responsibility
- we deliver both local and national bereavement services, including a national helpline and online service
- grief Encounter was set up in December 2003 to ensure that bereaved children and their families receive the best possible support following the death of a significant other
- lead on budgeting, phasing and reforecasting of income from events
- help to secure high value or money can’t buy raffle and auction prizes and experiences. Co-ordinating these fundraising activities at events
- to effectively manage the Events and Fundraising Co-ordinator to support with successful delivery of events
- to deliver an annual programme of events at Grief Encounter, from the brief process, managing logistics, through to the successful delivery of events
- work closely with the High Value fundraising team to maximise fundraising from supporters at events, and to deliver cultivation and stewardship events
- to ensure that income targets are met, expenditure is carefully managed, and events are delivered with the best possible return on investment
