Responsibility
- infection Control - Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of infection control and follow the practice protocols
- sedation Support: Assist in the administration and monitoring of sedation for patients undergoing dental procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
- clinical Support: Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures. Sterilise and disinfect instruments as per infection control protocols
- record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and relevant documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
- team Collaboration: Collaborate with other dental professionals, including dentists, hygienists, and dental staff, to deliver comprehensive patient care
- assist in Dental Implant Procedures: Provide chairside assistance to the dental team during dental implant surgeries, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth flow of the procedure
Requirements
- qualified Dental Nurse: Must hold a recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse
- dental Implant Experience: Experience in assisting with dental implant procedures is highly desirable
- sedation Experience: Previous experience in supporting sedation in a dental setting is preferred
- registration: Must be registered with the GDC and compliant with local regulations
- communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and team members
