interior designer
Responsibility
- greenmount Projects are looking at expanding and enhancing our internal design team
- we are looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and collaborative approach to join the team
- supporting the client through the journey from concept through to construction utilising your skills, space planning and moving into detailed design
- conducting meetings discussing design elements, finishes and processes
- we are ideally looking for someone who has experience within the workplace, education, leisure, and commercial sectors and has previous experience leading on design schemes
- this varied role will expect you to be confident in front of clients, innovative and always strive for new ideas and most importantly be a trustworthy team player
- the ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create exciting designs based on conversations with a client and the wider team here at Greenmount Projects
Requirements
- BA Interior Design or similar
- software skills including AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, 3D Visualisation, Sketchup
- technical & Joinery drawing packs
- demonstrated ability to execute and present
- A good understanding of FF&E, colour and material specification and development
- A clear understanding of the design process and building regulations
- ability to work towards deadlines and be organised
- ability to collaborate with consultants, fabricators, and other vendors to achieve project objectives
