- process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payment
- reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- prepare and process journal entries for accounts payable transactions
- assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation and accruals
- maintain accurate and organized financial records
- assist with payroll processing and payroll management tasks
- support the corporate accounting team with various tasks as needed
Requirements
- minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
- proficiency in 10-key typing and data entry
- strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles
- knowledge of payroll processes and benefits administration
- familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- purchase ledger: 1 year
