maintenance team leader
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- knowledge and maintenance and repair of equipment and basic on-site repairs and adjustments
- ensuring equipment is used and stored correctly
- ensuring staff are adhering to Company policies, procedures, and following management instructions
- attention to detail, setting, implementing and upholding company standards
- assist in development, implementation, and management of preventative maintenance program for all grounds responsibilities and grounds equipment
- familiarity with all aspects of Grounds and Landscape duties from equipment usage, hardscape, plantings, manicuring turf and ornamental beds, horticulture, use of handheld tools and equipment, ride on mowing equipment and garden machinery, snow and ice management, mowing and all other aspects that would be required as a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader
- prepares, implements, and supervises work/shift schedules based on work priorities, employee availability, equipment and resources, and weather conditions
- lead, enforce, and participate in workplace safety, including but not limited to safe working conditions, proper use of tools and equipment, and the proper use of personal protective equipment , provide training in the proper use of equipment to ensure staff are working safely and efficiently
Requirements
- pa1 Pa6 qualification preferred
- we are currently looking for a self-motivated individual who works well both in a team and individually, as a Team Leader with a ‘hands on approach’, providing a professional customer focused service
- previous experience of carrying out a ground’s maintenance supervisory role essential
- responsibilities include the maintenance of a number of our commercial sites from Office Parks, Industrial Estates and Retails Parks throughout South Wales and the South West of England
- we are a small friendly team and flexibility is a must with regards to working hours and shift patterns to ensure we provide a first-class service to our clients
- grounds Maintenance: 3 years
- maintenance and or Handyman: 3 years
- management & Supervision: 5 years
