Responsibility
offer support during disruptions by assisting customers and maintaining effective communication with Drivers and Conductors
team leader

monitor and assess cleaning quality, staff competency, and daily work progress; take corrective action where required
ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and railway regulations, including handling of biohazards, sharps, and reporting of defects or incidents
manage team performance, including training, induction, rostering, and communication of key information and updates
operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely, ensuring tools are fit for purpose and all documentation is accurate
lead and support a team to deliver high standards of interior and exterior train cleaning in line with company and safety standards
work flexibly across shifts and locations as required, maintaining AEA values of being genuine, professional, inclusive, and proactive
Requirements
35 hours per week
earliest shift is from 0630am, and night shift finishes by 0400am
previous experience in a similar role is needed and knowledge of train cleaning processes and methodology would be helpful
full training provided and uniform provided
you must be aged 18 and over
this is a 3 shifts role, comprising of early, late and night shifts on a rotating roster basis.) You must be able to arrange your own transport for early/late shifts

planner
Responsibility
develop amended train plans that meet customer needs and deliver optimal performance while minimising costs
coordinate with Route and Fleet teams to gather necessary information and ensure smooth execution of train plans
