- be confident of working unsupervised, using the garage software to provide details of all completed work
- MOT testing and rectification work
- manage workshop activities including parts ordering as required
- great North Auto Services is looking for a motor mechanic/technician to join us in our friendly, busy, family run garage based near Wetherby
- working as part of a team you will share the companies' pride in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing all makes and models of car and light commercial vehicles
- although mainly Monday to Friday, you will be required to work alternate Saturday mornings
- carry out fault diagnosis, service and repairs to the highest standards on all makes and models of vehicle, reporting any other issues the vehicle may have, completing repairs in allotted time
Requirements
- qualification in MOT testing is desirable but not essential, but must be willing to take an MOT course/training if required
- full, clean UK driving licence
- minimum of 3 years' experience in diagnostics, servicing and repair of motor vehicles. Experience/training with a main service dealer of premium brand would be advantageous
