  • ensure consistency of food
  • create new dishes to introduce
  • be able to teach junior staff members
  • establish maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas

Requirements

  • demonstrated knowledge of the setting of Indian Kitchen
  • be experienced in North Indian cuisine
  • understanding of menu and recipe development techniques
  • ongoing awareness of culinary trends
  • understanding of health and sanitation laws
  • excellent knife-handling skills
  • must be in UK with permission to work
  • chef: 5 years

Education

  • high school degree or equivalent
  • must have at least 6 years Experience
  • experienced in making Tandoori Breads from scratch
  • experienced in making Tandoori Grills, Curries and Popular Indian Dishes
  • experience in high-volume kitchens
  • food Hygiene & Safety certification Level 1 & 2
