- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- empathy and patience when dealing with clients, particularly those requiring hospice or dementia care
- capability to drive to various locations as needed for client appointments or errands
- knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to dietary restrictions or preferences
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
