- to ensure and maintain high levels of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children
- support colleagues within the nursery
- implement the daily routine
- to create and implement social activities for the children
- write up children's records and feedback to parents
- work with parents and special needs children to ensure full integration into the nursery
- be a proactive team player within the staff group
- liaise with and support parents and other family members
Requirements
- excellent time management skills
- creative and able to use own initiative
- ideally a minimum of LEVEL 3 NVQ for room leader roles
- IT Literate
- nursery: 2 years
- childcare: 2 years
- management: 1 year
