Responsibility

plan, coordinate, and manage the 3 streams of Production, Warehouse and Maintenance to achieve the goals and targets of Granta
develop and implement effective production processes and systems to drive Operational efficiency
assist the Senior Leadership team in budget preparation and expense management activities
identify areas for continuous improvement and implement a CI mindset within the overall Operation
ensure that Health and Safety is maintained at all times, with ensure all outstanding issues are addressed
identify unsafe equipment and provide solutions to improve safety
through the Shift Managers, Warehouse and Maintenance Manager, ensure daily, weekly and monthly targets are met in terms of quality, quantity, and deadlines
ensure that the production is cost effective and efficiency is maintained

Salary

Requirements

proven experience as a Factory / Production Manager or similar role within a manufacturing environment
strong leadership abilities to direct, motivate, and manage a diverse team of managers and workers towards achieving targets
knowledge of business and management principles
SMART objective setting and performance management for his/her team
excellent organizational skills to plan, prioritize, and coordinate all production processes and maintain schedules
knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies
technical knowledge of machinery, assembly lines, and industrial processes to oversee the production operations effectively
strong problem-solving skills to identify and rectify any issues that may disrupt production efficiency and output
