Responsibility

  • managing the financial close process to ensure timely, complete and accurate compilation of the company accounts in Xero software
  • drive high standards of financial reporting across the business
  • reporting on the Company’s performance internally to key stakeholders
  • manage and co-ordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • ensuring the company maintains a strong financial control environment
  • preparation and submission of quarterly VAT return
  • developing financial analysis and tools that deliver informative reports on financial position and performance against KPIs
  • cashflow management and reporting

Requirements

  • qualified Accountant
  • minimum 4 years’ post qualification experience in a SME finance team
  • understanding Xero is desirable
  • strong financial, accounting and managerial skills
  • strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • excellent attention to detail
  • committed to working to deadlines
  • process driven and proactive approach
