- prepare surfaces for painting by stripping paper, cleaning, sanding, caulking and filling holes or imperfections
- apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes and rollers
- measure and cut wallpaper for application on walls and ceilings. As well as hang paper to a high standard
- ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with client specifications
- maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- communicate effectively and professionally with exceptional manners towards clients, customers and colleagues to ensure a positive experience for all
- manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship
Requirements
- proven experience in painting and decorating is required
