Responsibility

  • ● Ensuring invoices are raised in a timely manner, and working with project teams to follow up payments, if necessary
  • ● Monitoring of income via Xero or detailed spreadsheets
  • ● Ensuring efficient processing of supplier invoices, including appropriate authorisation, accurate coding and timely payment by BACS
  • ● Supporting the Senior Leadership Team, Directors and wider staff team by providing financial reports and resolving financial queries
  • ● Payment of monthly staff expense claims via BACS
  • ● Collecting and entering data for various financial spreadsheets
  • ● Processing payroll and PAYE payments
  • ● Liaising with external organisations, including bankers and insurers

Requirements

  • ● At least 2-3 year’s experience working in a finance role
  • ● AAT Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • ● Experience working with accounting software, ideally Xero
  • ● Knowledge of financial legislation and regulations
  • ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ● Resilience with an ability to work independently and on your own initiative
