- assisting in reconciling balances with joint ventures and joint operations
- collaborating with the Group Finance Manager on technical accounting for investments
- ensuring appropriate disclosure for investments in/balances with joint ventures
- developing a sound understanding of joint venture and joint operation-related matters
- preparing and reconciling a Group intercompany matrix
- driving the implementation of an improved process to maintain the intercompany matrix
- building relationships with the external audit team to complete audits within necessary timeframes
- completing monthly management accounts for a small number of group-held entities
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA professional qualification or equivalent international qualification
- accounting
- experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in line with strict deadlines
- experience with a listed company’s half-year and/or full-year reporting process
- experience with accounting for investments
- experience working with or for external auditors
- high level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
