Responsibility

  • we are currently looking for an enthusiastic Cook to join our small and friendly team, working in a rural setting
  • main Duties and responsibilities
  • we are looking for an applicant to work 25 hours per week, between 8.30am and 1.30pm, Monday to Friday, all year round
  • we are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, passionate and work well in a small team, with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • plus when required be available to cover holidays and sick leave of our assistant cook
  • this will require the successful applicant to prepare, cook, serve and tidy up our afternoon snack and teas options
  • work experience in a child care setting is desirable but not essential however a level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety course is essential
  • safeguarding
