Responsibility

  • the list below includes the day-to-day tasks that the maintenance person will be expected to complete
  • whilst not exhaustive this list forms the basis and essential works that are included within the role
  • general ground maintenance including grass cutting and hedge trimming as required
  • applications for the role on a job-share basis will be considered
  • weeding of hard paved areas and keeping these areas free from moss and algae causing slippery surfaces
  • maintaining vegetable and shrub beds, pots and planters
  • replacing standard washers and ball valves and minor plumbing works
  • the general maintenance and upkeep of our Coastal Retreat. This is a varied, hands on and physical role which requires a flexible and pragmatic approach to work and an ability to work on own initiative

Requirements

  • hold a clean driving licence - Essential
  • D1 classification Licence- Desirable
  • A DBS and driving licence check would need to be completed if you were successful at interview
  • competent in DIY with a diverse practical skill set- Essential
  • previous Maintenance Experience- Desirable
  • trade experience & qualifications eg Construction, Plumbing, Electrical and/ or Mechanical discipline – Desirable
  • basic IT skills

Responsibility

  • vacuuming areas which will be a mix of carpeted and hard floor
