Requirements
- experience in the manufacturing and mechanical operations
- willing to work 40 hour week and the occasional weekends
- experience in working in a team
- experience with wood processing or any other related discipline
- basic to advanced knowledge of technical machinery and systems that support renewables or a related disciplines
- the willingness and ability to successfully complete all working orders for customers
- working knowledge of systems in wood manufacturing, Health and Safety and Environmental regulations
- experience in lean manufacturing is desirable
Education
- completion of a 2 - 4-year apprenticeship program or technical degree within core craft. Note: anyone with alternative training, will be considered
Responsibility
- the Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Renewables production and wood manufacturing. The Technician is accountable for controlling all raw materials and manufacturing products for sale
