Responsibility

  • building and testing new features and functionality in our backend infrastructure
  • maintaining functionality in Glue’s platform services
  • communicate with members of the engineering team on integration requirements
  • working with Product and Engineering leads to scope and estimate tasks
  • work with QA to continue Glue’s high level of quality releases

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science
  • background in building distributed, scalable backend systems
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • fluent working with .net core & C#
  • exposure to a diverse set of data stores such as Cassandra, PosgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
  • experience designing RESTful APIs
  • good attitude
  • 4+ years of work experience within a backend-focused software engineering team
