engineering manager
Responsibility
- for new projects, review the compliance concerning local permitting, government/local standards and authority regulations
- undertake regular assessments of the integrity of the infrastructure of our data centres
- set and review technical client briefs for new projects, reviewing and evaluating those technical designs to ensure they are cost-effective and deliver resilient infrastructure
- work with site Operations teams to develop and implement framework agreements with major Original Equipment Manufacturers to ensure optimal procurement and maintenance
Requirements
- proven management experience, both in leading internal engineering teams and external design or construction teams
- working knowledge of all critical systems equipment
- chartered or registered Professional Engineer, or demonstrably working towards registration
- uptime Accredited Tier Designer Certification is highly desirable, but not essential
- significant relevant experience in the design of power and cooling systems in a critical environment, and preferably in a data centre setting
