Responsibility
- own the end-to-end scheme compliance process for the organisation
- planning, preparation & management of compliance certifications and audit
- lead on collating and disseminating Scheme mandates and operational practices across the business, ensuring all issues are advised and assessed
- ongoing auditing and reporting on the organization's compliance
- act as subject matter expert on scheme rules and mandates
- collaborate across all business functions to create a culture of compliance
- develop robust communication strategies and processes with internal and external teams impacted by Scheme mandates
- assist external audits in consultation with business process owners and enterprise risk
Requirements
- deep industry knowledge of payment scheme compliance – preferably from an issuing perspective
- ability to gather information from multiple sources and translate into clear business requirements
- significant Project Management Experience – ability to organize multiple work streams to accomplish specific goals in a specified timeframe
- proactive and organized to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, change rich environment
- comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders across business and technical functions
- knowledge of the financial services industry, Fintech and beyond. Awareness of fintech providers and what services they offer
- ability to work independently with little direction. Able to take high level requests and break them down into actionable plans
- ability to influence without direct line management and gain the confidence of internal and external stakeholders quickly
