Responsibility
- fabricate and weld access platforms using TIG welding techniques with raw materials such as aluminium extrusions, castings, and flat bars
- interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and welding
- use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble raw materials into finished products
- perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards
- collaborate with other members of the team to meet production schedules and deadlines
Requirements
- at least 3 years of experience in aluminium TIG welding and fabrication
- ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- relevant welding and fabrication qualifications
- we offer a competitive salary starting from £15 per hour to £16 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
