fabricator welder

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • fabricate and weld access platforms using TIG welding techniques with raw materials such as aluminium extrusions, castings, and flat bars
  • interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and welding
  • use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble raw materials into finished products
  • perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards
  • collaborate with other members of the team to meet production schedules and deadlines

Requirements

  • at least 3 years of experience in aluminium TIG welding and fabrication
  • ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • good physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • relevant welding and fabrication qualifications
  • we offer a competitive salary starting from £15 per hour to £16 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
