Responsibility

• read coding / Scanning / Summarising
• a. Accurately clinically coding data on Emis Web into the patient record
• b. Identifying relevant clinical information documented in patient correspondence, coding appropriately and completing any detailed action

• d. Inputting and extracting data as required to support practice reports
• e. Filing and storing records as required
• f. Actioning all incoming correspondence including opening and date stamping post, emails and mail in a timely manner
• g. Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients’ healthcare records in a reasonable timeframe
• h. Inputting data into patients’ healthcare records as necessary
• i. Maintaining a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times
• c. Document / workflow management – Documents to be filed or work flowed to the appropriate staff as necessary as per practice policy ie. further coding, safeguarding, prescribing etc
• j. Supporting all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested
• k. Review and update the practice coding policy as required with management input
• provide patients with all appropriate information regarding services provided in the
• l. Partake in audit as directed by the audit lead
• n. Assist the Data Quality Co-Ordinator when required
• greet and direct patients appropriately to the correct servic
