Responsibility
- glasstorm is an award winning creative studio and gallery that designs, manufactures and finishes glass products for the whisky industry
- this is a great opportunity for a candidate with previous experience in a QC role but full training will be provided
- the right candidate will work closely with the management team
- this role will also include assisting in the manufacturing process of glass products
- A meticulous eye for detail is essential
- this is a permanent position
- the main responsibilities will include: quality inspecting glass products, completing inspection reports and reporting any non-conformances
- no previous experience with glass is necessary as full training will be provided and the role has the opportunity for advancement with continued experience
Requirements
- ability to respond quickly to demands and work in a fast-paced environment
- previous experience working with glass is not essential
- meeting deadlines
- experience in quality assurance would be beneficial
- ability to learn quickly and be self motivated
- an interest in metalwork or woodwork would be advantageous
- confident and capable communicator
- experience working in manufacturing and on a production a line would be advantageous
