operations manager
Responsibility
- responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Office and Workshop deliverables
- key facilitator to ensure BU Director and Operational Personnel are fully informed of business activities
- responsible for the Management of the workload within the GMS Site business and ensure resources meet Client demands
- maintain the planning and execution of daily activities, assigning and delegating tasks as appropriate
- monitor performance, developing and implementing corrective actions, where required
- monitor the effectiveness/suitability of the current GMS processes/offerings and develop the business where necessary
- responsible for the monthly sales and profitability forecasting in conjunction with BU Director
- manage and maintain the quote/sales system to ensure all enquiries/jobs are recorded
Requirements
- HNC / Degree / technical certification / experience in Engineering and/or Onsite Machining
- provenexperiencewithin the Oil & Gas industry
- good understanding and working knowledge of an ERP system
- good working knowledge of ISO9001 requirements
- sound understanding of QHSE legislation, management systems and practices
- strong financial and business acumen
- sound knowledge of improving efficiency and effectiveness of manpower
- good strong customer orientation with demonstrable Client retention skills
