Responsibility

  • the candidate will be accountable for sourcing and negotiating the rates for materials, services, plant, and subcontractors for all projects
  • dealing with site requisitions and raising of purchase orders for suppliers and services
  • helping to solve problems that may arise on site in a proactive manner
  • establishing excellent working relationships with suppliers, site teams, accounts, and contracts management
  • being constantly on the lookout for ways to improve the supply chain and bring new suppliers and products on board
  • dealing with invoice queries from suppliers relating to purchase orders
  • conducting meetings with new and existing suppliers to review service and pricing
  • supporting our estimator where required
