- we are looking for an admin assistant to work alongside a Project Manager for one of our major clients
- duties to include
- raising quotes onto the in house system and sending to the customer
- brief quotes into Design
- send customers artwork proofs from design
- confirming orders onto the system once artwork approved and PO received
- booking work in for installers on in house system
- working hours: Monday - Friday 9 - 5
- follow briefs from Project Manager ensuring attention to detail
- create high quality artwork proofs in a timely manner
- amend designs after feedback
- create pre-press artwork with attention to detail of exact to scale sizing, colours, bleed and correct format
- ensure final graphics and layouts are on-brand
- proven graphic design and art working experience
- A strong portfolio of illustrations, art working or other graphics
- ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- previous knowledge of Pre press art working and sign making desired
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- website design experience including customer portals desirable
- excellent communication skills
- degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
- to check digital cut files, meet the specified requirements and process them on appropriate settings ready for cutting
- to operate the digital cutters to produce work of the highest quality on a variety of substrates
- to pre plan for jobs and ensure the cutters run at optimum performance to maintain the production schedule
- to ensure the machines are operating correctly and within their limitations, reporting any faults/concerns to the production manager
- to ensure the daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance is carried out as specified by the manufacturer
- to ensure the data collection system is updated throughout your shift to record Quality, Cost and Delivery information
- to ensure the cutting department is maintained in a clean, tidy, and safe manner
- to correctly dispose of any waste materials and chemicals/inks in accordance with the company recycling procedures
