Responsibility
- perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, according to project specifications and industry standards
- interpret drawings and welding processes to ensure accurate and precise welds
- set up and operate welding equipment, including selecting appropriate tools and adjusting settings for optimal weld quality
- inspect completed welds to verify compliance with quality standards and make necessary adjustments or repairs as required
- collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion
- adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- certification or relevant vocational training in welding
- previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred
- proven experience as a MIG and TIG Welder
- proficiency in welding techniques and knowledge of various welding processes
- familiarity with interpreting drawings and technical specifications
- ability to operate and maintain welding equipment effectively
- strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality welds consistently
- good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
