Responsibility
- trend research and forecasting for the upcoming seasons and new product opportunities
- designing and innovating unique and creative product ranges
- we have an exciting opportunity for a mid-weight designer to work for a fun and innovative company who specialise in party and celebration products, selling to retailers around the world
- the ideal candidate will be passionate about our brand, whose innovation has no boundaries and has a keen eye on up and coming trends
- the role will encompass a journey from from initial trends and exciting designs through to product and packaging artwork, with a photoshoot bringing the final products to life
- taking ownership of tasks to ensure deadlines of the Critical Path are met
- liaise with product developers to ensure creativity is executed into the final “dream” best-selling product
- assistance with Ad-hoc administrative projects
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in a design role ideally at a brand or retailer
- A creative thinker and idea generator
- commercial awareness and ability to design across multiple briefs
- puts the brand and customer at the forefront of the design development process
- ability to work to time critical deadlines within a fast paced environment with great attention to detail
- ideally has experience of the end-to-end design process from mood board creation through to artwork
- great team player to become part of the “Ginger Ray” family
