Requirements

  • knowledge and understanding of architectural drawings and the built environment is preferred, although not essential
  • strong numerical skills
  • knowledge and understanding of architectural drawings and the built environment
  • ability to demonstrate a real passion and interest in the property/construction industry
  • excellent written skills for future complex report writing
  • good problem solving and analytical mind to analyse schemes, their repercussions and solutions
  • happy to have working days split between office-based activities, and site-based inspections of land and properties
  • independent learning

Responsibility

  • diary and time management and recording of daily timesheets
  • you will work alongside each member of the team, at all levels, right through to Partner, in advising our clients regarding their proposed developments and take part in weekly meetings
  • the primary aspect to the role is to assist the Department’s Schedules Surveyor with the inspection of neighbouring properties and preparation of schedule of condition reports, amongst other associated works
  • researching HM Land Registry for title documents and other sources to obtain information about land ownership
