  • role available at a leading steel fabrication business based in Midlothian
  • ideal for a graduate or college leaver with a background in Maths, business, engineering or computer science
  • the ideal candidate would be reliable, able to work in a team, good at problem solving and have good communication skills
  • help and support will always be given throughout
  • computer skills and a proficiency with Microsoft packages is essential as well as a full driving license
  • full training will be given but the role will involve working in an office pricing steelwork from drawings, surveying sites and measuring up steelwork for fabrication, liaising with clients and contractors and organising labour to carry out contracts
  • there will be a probationary period for the first year where the suitable candidate shadows more experienced members of staff before tackling contracts of their own using their own initiative to see a job through from start to finish
