Responsibility
- repair and restore damaged vehicle panels to their original condition
- remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle panels
- use hand tools and power tools to shape and smooth vehicle panels
- weld or solder damaged panels together
- follow schematics and repair manuals to ensure accurate repairs
- assemble and install new panels as needed
- perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of vehicle parts and equipment
- maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle panel repair techniques
- proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment for panel repair
- ability to read and interpret schematics and repair manuals
- physical strength and stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing, bending, and kneeling
- experience with welding or soldering is preferred but not required
- attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in panel repair work
