Responsibility
- we are seeking a talented and motivated junior web designer to join our team
- designing visually engaging emails, landing pages, and web elements based on marketing plan requirements
- collaborating with the Head of Design to ensure design feasibility and implementation on the web platform and all devices
- ongoing research on current design trends, user behaviours, and competitor websites to inform your design decisions
- ensuring that all web designs are responsive and compatible with different browsers and devices
- optimizing web graphics and other media for faster loading times and improved performance
- incorporating best practices in UX design to enhance user satisfaction and usability
- assisting in the ongoing maintenance and updates of the GTL website, including design improvements and bug fixes where applicable
Requirements
- some experience as a web designer, with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of web design projects
- proficiency in industry-standard design software
- solid understanding of web design principles, user interface design, and user experience best practices
- strong eye for design and design principles
- knowledge of responsive design and the ability to create designs that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes
- strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- attention to detail and the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
