Responsibility
- to make contact with young women to enable them to access groups and projects within Getaway Girls
- to work with young women to plan, facilitate, participate, evaluate and take action in Voice and Influence opportunities
- to attend regular supervision, team meetings and training
- to contribute to the daily smooth running of the organisation
- to attend supervision, team meetings and team development days
- to lead on the planning, facilitation and evaluation of girls empowerment groups, projects and initiatives, which meet the needs of girls and young women
- to maintain appropriate records on our CIVI CRM system, evaluate work with young women and carry out the administration necessary to support the work
Requirements
- 3 years Previous experience leading work with girls and young women
- youth and community qualification
- ability to work regular evenings and some weekends
- to work within Getaway Girls values and young women centred strength based approach
- youth work: 2 years
