Responsibility

  • develop solutions to help bolster the system with additional testing and redundancy
  • implement data science pipelines to either process or import atmospheric datasets
  • as a junior data scientist at Geospatial Insight, you will work within our software team with the primary role of enhancing Geospatial Insight’s geospatial data delivery and analytics software in the domain of atmospheric science and geointelligence
  • to support our other data scientists with activities as required to support the day-to-day operation
  • we operate using cutting edge technology to maximise performance and minimise development overhead, therefore any candidate interested in the role must be up to date and remain up to date with the latest in data analysis technologies
  • provide professional advice on technology evolutions and suggestions for future direction regarding the uptake of new technologies and software as they become available

Requirements

  • python
  • experience with atmospheric models

  • experience with remote sensing solutions
