Responsibility
- our staff are a key factor in our reputation and interact with a large number of customers every day
- candidates will be honest, personable, hardworking and enjoy a busy retail environment
- we are a busy tools, ironmongery and hardware store, serving predominantly trade customers, we have a justifiable reputation for outstanding customer service and extensive product knowledge across our vast stock range
- we are looking for a confident self-starter to join our existing team to assist with finding the best deals and stock range for our customers
- with supervision from the senior buyers, you will be involved with buying products to maintain and supplement our product range, ultimately you will be responsible for developing the range by liaising with relevant suppliers, placing orders and pricing stock for sale and working with the existing buying team to ensure the overall shop ranges are relevant, offer good choice and value and are well presented on the shop floor
- you will also be involved with stock taking, and also support the sales team with customer queries, processing customer orders and assisting with counter sales and on the shop floor which will require face to face, telephone or email interaction with our valued customers
- part-time working is an option as we are looking to recruit the right person to join our team
