Requirements

  • previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential
  • other previous accounting experience is desirable
  • proactive and focused on systems and improvement
  • some knowledge and experience of the preparation and manipulation of data using MS Excel
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • the ability to work to tight timescales and work under differing levels of pressure
  • attention to detail
  • the ability to remain calm under pressure

Responsibility

  • to ensure that invoice queries are resolved efficiently in line with agreed KPI’s
  • to provide day to day support to the Finance Team in other areas of the accounting activities as and when required
  • to assist with the operation and administration of the Purchase Ledger including the processing of purchase invoices and accounts payable activities
