- to provide practical and emotional support to young people and advise them professionally following safeguarding and confidential policies
- to maintain accurate and relevant information on a young person on a shift basis and provide a fully in-depth handover
- to regularly advise the Manager/Supervisor of NGHS of developments and changes in the cases and according to need
- to attend such meetings, in relation to the young person as required
- to be able to work flexibly and creatively with young people
- commitment to equal opportunities
- ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships with a range of people e.g., young people or other professionals
