Responsibility
- ensure meals are produced on time, with sufficient quantities/ portions for various areas
- ensure all food is prepared in line with food safety regulations and requirements
- maintain stock levels for all kitchen mise en place
- work with your superior chefs in providing staff feedback & enable staff development
- minimise food wastage through stock rotation and maintain thorough food prep methods
- adhere to all food, health & safety guidelines to prevent food loss
- helping with stock ordering and stock levels of individual sections
- assist team in kitchen cleaning at end of shift
