Responsibility
- we're looking for a couple of Ad Hoc SIA badged security officers to work our booked functions throughout the year
- they're generally either Fridays or Saturdays from 8pm-12.30am
- to check proof of age from anyone who appears under 25
- to ensure customers are respectful to staff and are quiet when leaving the premises
- to remove individuals/groups that are causing disruption in a calm manner
- patrol and monitor premises/toilets regularly to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers
- respond to emergencies and incidents, such as medical emergencies or security breaches
- write detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken
Requirements
- proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role
- knowledge of security operations and procedures
- ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- strong observation skills and attention to detail
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- security: 1 year
