Responsibility
- perform routine maintenance on vehicles including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- diagnose and repair mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems
- replace clutches and timing belts as needed
- communicate with reception, other staff and on occasion customers about vehicle repairs and answer any questions they may have
Requirements
- full uk valid license
- experience in automotive repair and maintenance
- strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- experience working on clutches and timing belts
- a can do attitude towards getting the job done
- are you able to change a clutch with minimal assistance when required with gearbox removal and refit?
- how would you deal with a seized/rusted bolt on a track rod end?
