Responsibility

- interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot problems accurately
- assist in heavy lifting tasks when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs
- operate forklifts for the movement of parts and vehicles within the workshop environment
- maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements
- proven mechanical knowledge with experience in HGV maintenance or repair
- ability to solder, weld, dig, and assemble various components as part of the repair process
- strong understanding of vehicle schematics and systems
- excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely
- experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not essential; training may be provided
- proficiency in using power tools relevant to vehicle maintenance
