Responsibility

  • garden Trends is a multi-channel retailer in the garden and leisure industry, selling barbecues, garden furniture, and seasonal products
  • our business is generated through our retail showrooms and online sales using many suppliers with a large product range
  • we're looking for an experienced Van Driver/Handyman/Handywoman to join our Team at our Head Office in Watlington, North of Henley, Oxfordshire
  • this is a very physical role and requires manual lifting of large heavy items of garden furniture items
  • you'll be working in a safe, but busy fast paced warehouse environment, working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. We are proud of our reputation and you will be responsible for ensuring that our standards and values are maintained
  • you need to be self-motivated with a can do attitude and can turn your hand to building, assembly, maintenance and repairs of garden furniture, barbecues and outdoor kitchen products, either in our work shop or in our customers home
  • the role will involve driving as we carry out installations, repairs and maintenance of our products at customers homes as well as our work shop
  • the role will also involve delivery of products that may not require installation but requires extra due care and attention, so will not be delivered through our normal channel
