Responsibility
- servicing existing commercial relationships and identifying new business opportunities to expand and strengthen current portfolio of customers
- negotiate contracts and secure supply of timber with Baltic supply partners
- monitor and manage stock levels in UK and Baltics in order to meet customer stock holding requirements
- negotiate prices and volumes with customers to secure forward orders
- communicating to customers upcoming shipping schedule and availability of stock
- raising sales orders and vehicle loading instructions
- regular visits to new and existing customers
- maintain a profound knowledge of stock sizes and specifications within our wider stock list
Requirements
- minimum 5 years sales experience
- knowledge of logistics and supply chain management
- excellent customer focus, communication and interpersonal skills
- confident in handling difficult conversations and resolving customer issues if they occur
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- highly motivated and target driven
- UK Driving License
