Responsibility
- dispensing prescription medications to patients accurately and efficiently
- providing advice on the dosage of medicines and checking for potential side effects or adverse interactions
- monitoring patient medication regimens and health progress of newly prescribed medicines
- maintaining accurate patient records, medication orders, inventory and efficient prescription process
- collaborating with healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate patient medication plans and optimising prescribing patterns to assure availability and continuity of interrupted supply
- ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards and keeping up to date with the newest and most relevant to the business innovations
Requirements
- master of Pharmacy degree from an accredited pharmacy body
- current GPHC registration with no fitness to practice issues
- experience in and willing to be a clinical lead during vaccination sessions
- confident and willing to use Pharmacy First when every time deemed necessary
- excellent communication skills and easily approachable for effective patient counselling and understanding
- attention to details and accuracy in dispensing process
- ability to work in a team environment and willing to collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patients care
- pharmacist: 1 year
