Responsibility

  • assisting your line manager in the setting up of the activities before the session and clearing away when the session ends
  • actively working to build and foster relationships with young people during sessions
  • participating in session activities with the BFF young people, providing help and support when it’s needed
  • following the health and safety procedures explained and communicated to you by your line manager
  • building and maintaining good, effective working relationships with the young people and other BFF staff you work with
  • supporting resolving conflicts and behaviour management of young people during sessions
  • taking a proactive approach to ensuring safeguarding concerns are raised with your line manager and dealt with appropriately
  • ensuring that all BFF records you have reason to see are kept confidential and in line with BFF’s procedures
