Responsibility

  • this position is an integral part of the accounts team which will predominantly be responsible for credit control. It will also help in supporting the other areas such as purchase ledger, expenses and VAT
  • communicating with customers via telephone, letters and email to ensure payment of debt, both overdue and expected, on time
  • other ad hoc tasks as requied
  • reconcile Petty Cash – monthly
  • weekly review report
  • raise Credit Notes for Customer Rebates
  • monthly timely reconciliation of sales ledger to accounting system
  • resolve queries with customers & issue of credits or payment of outstanding balances
