Responsibility
run MRP and place purchase orders with suppliers
you will also work closely with the warehouse department dealing with issues relating to incoming materials
follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
track orders and ensure timely delivery
update internal database with order details
expedite orders if required
reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the purchasing department with day to day operations, interacting with suppliers and internal personnel
Requirements
knowledge of supply chain management
good organisational skills
close attention to detail
good communication skills
strong interpersonal skills
must be proficient and comfortable with personal computer navigation
MS Office experience
