Trainee Occupational Health Technician Southampton
Job description Trainee Occupational Health Technician Fusion Occupational Health Limited is a leading provider of health & safety risk management solutions, offering the broadest range of services in the market. We are currently looking for a Trainee Occupational Health Technician based in Southampton, Swindon, Stoke on Trent, Cambridge and Newcastle Upon Tyne or surrounding areas. This is a trainee opportunity for a dynamic individual who will be based from home but will work at locations throughout the UK often requiring overnight stays. The role will involve formal training and practical experience. The core purpose of this role is to train to provide occupational health technical support under the supervision of both qualified OH personnel and the leadership team, helping to deliver an efficient and effective occupational health service. Responsibilities will include: - The post involves travelling to clients and requires the ability to effectively time manage, prioritise and be adaptable. The main aspects of the post include. Lifestyle tests i.e., blood pressure, urinalysisLung Function TestHearing TestSkin assessmentsHAVS assessments (questionnaires)VenepunctureHealth and Wellbeing Health Education / Promotion The role requires testing on the above areas, of which the results will be analysed by a qualified OHA on the Fusion team. Full in-house training will be provided to ensure competency in delivering the above with regular audits to maintain skill base. You will be required to travel, possibly throughout the UK and you will have to stay away in hotels as and when required.
