Responsibility
- ensuring that the Controlled Drugs Register is maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and that all company procedures for controlled drugs handling within the pharmacy are followed
- regularly monitor the NHS claims for dispensing or other services, document such checks and take steps to address issues which may arise
- advises patients on the proper use of prescription medication and answers questions about the drugs
- to be successful in this role, you will
- work within legal, ethical and governance framework keeping abreast of current changes
- maintaining safe operation and appearance by complying with NHS, GPhC and other regulatory policies, procedures and standards
